Secure processes to ensure the safety of your data

TWIS understands the importance of security and confidentiality and takes these issues very seriously.

At TWIS, we’re aware that your documents may contain strategic and confidential data, so we implement secure processes to store and handle this data when working on your localisation projects. We ensure consistent data security in a variety of ways:

Secure repository: we use a secure storage solution to receive and store your projects. We use link-based delivery to avoid sending files via email or other less secure transfer methods. You can also upload your files directly to our solution using a personalised link which is only available for a fixed period.
Secure PII processing: we only store and process the personally identifiable information (PII) we need to carry out our business activities, such as invoicing, creating dedicated processes, etc.
Regular password updates: we require our team members to update their passwords regularly with strong passwords and we don’t allow passwords to be stored in a non-secure password management tool.
Internal security policies: we have developed several security policies to streamline the way in which our team stores and processes client data, ensuring that we’re all on the same page when it comes to protecting our clients.
Non-disclosure agreements: we implement NDAs with both our clients and service providers to ensure everyone involved in a project knows exactly what is and isn’t allowed. These agreements include a set of best practices and requirements with which all parties must comply to be able to work with TWIS.
Data access restrictions: we restrict access to data on a need-to-know basis.
Data sharing with an invite-only and minimum rights approach: whenever we need to share data and documents, we always do so using a link which can only be accessed by a particular users and we never share a public link. Similarly, we restrict the level of access of certain users and share read-only files by default, while disabling download options.
